Amanda Prokop (she/her)
Amanda is a registered massage therapist who graduated from the massage therapy program at Mount Royal University in 2017. She has found massage therapy to be effective on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Emotions leave an imprint not only in our minds, but also in our bodies, and massage can help relieve that tension, whether we’re aware it’s there or not. Compassionate and therapeutic touch is an essential part of the healing process.RMT, TIMT
With a focus on trauma-informed massage therapy, Amanda provides a safe space for clients to release any stresses. She works from a trauma-informed & trauma-respectful perspective, meaning creating a safe and trusting container is at the core of the treatment. Consent before and during the massage ensures the treatment is client-led and not re-traumatizing.
She is certified in pre-natal massage, reiki, myofascial cupping, and Raindrop Therapy.
